Abstract:

Cartoon depicts large balls bearing the names of northern states rolling across the opposition. Banner bears the names Fremont/Dayton, and a rainbow carries the motto: Free soil, free speech, free press, free men, & Fremont. Issues allluded to include: railroad to California, the "Fugitive Slave Bill", the "Cincinnati Platform" (of the Democratic party?), the "Kansas Code", and "Polygamy & Slavery".
